Creative Problem Solving
Description: Every single day you are walking in other people’s novel ideas: the chair you sit in, your desk, your computer, etc. Some people think, “oh well I’m just not creative”, but creativity can be more deliberate than one might think. Creative problem solving is a skill, like any other skill you can learn it and develop it. There are structured processes that when practiced can allow you to go beyond conventional thinking innately. I will demonstrate the application of a framework that participants can start applying today for better solving. Participants will learn and gain tips on how to best promote ‘outside of the box’ creative problem solving individually and within their project groups.
