- Work with local schools, colleges and universities to create a partnership with our PMI UNY Chapter
NEW!!! Project Management Trainers Needed - Deliver PM Course Content
- Need multiple volunteers to deliver a new PM Training Course (Managing Life’s Projects from PMIEF.org); includes a Train-the-Trainer class
NEW!!! Project Management Mentors
- The Professional Development Committee is looking for volunteers to Mentor college Project Management groups; work with Siena College in our NEW Academic Outreach program
NEW!!! Advanced Project Management Training Course - Develop Course Content for Advanced PM Course
What are our goals? To develop and complete course content for a new Advanced PM Course for Upstate NY Chapter (would like to roll out for September 2018)
What will we contribute? Each volunteer will receive PDU’s for their hard work, which will provide growth and learning opportunities for our members
What do we need? Dedicated people who want to help and work as a team to develop and deliver PM content within our community
What’s our plan? We would like to begin this training in the Fall of 2018
What’s our status? We are currently in the process of working with our chapter’s Marketing and Communications Committee to establish Outreach programs with local schools, colleges, universities and businesses
What’s next? We want to work with local educational facilities and businesses to promote and train their people who are interested in working with PMI and bringing PM into their culture and work force
Who is this course for? Existing Project Managers (PM) or people interested in becoming a PM who have PM knowledge and experience beyond an intro level
