October 2014 Dinner Meeting
SUCCESSFULLY MANAGING LARGE CHANGE INITIATIVES
PMI defines a project as a “temporary group activity designed to produce a unique product, service or result.” A missing aspect of this definition is a project always involves change. Managing change is a key success factor, some may argue THE key success factor to project success. Jennifer Austin has managed multiple large acquisitions for 3M Corporation. During this session Jennifer will discuss the tools and processes she has used to successfully integrate thriving organizations. Jennifer will explore the factors that deliver success, such as:
- Communications Management
- The Benefits of Cross Functional Teams
- Using Six Sigma to deliver desired outcomes
