Presentation: Agile Program Management in Action
CCRS Category: Technical
Presenter: Christopher La Rocca
You may know about Scrum and Lean; have you applied Hybrid and Kanban principals to your projects? We frequently refer to PMI’s five core project processes, but have you worked with all five performance domains in program management? Can you distinguish between a project versus a program? Take a journey into case studies illustrated by an Agile practitioner to learn methods to strategically scale related projects into Agile programs.
Diving into an interactive simulation, you will see how adaptive programs improve processes, adapt readily to change, and eliminate waste. Participants will have the opportunity to manage an emergent Agile program with a servant leader toolbox to maximize delivery. Techniques will draw from recent program management research conducted in strategic alignment coupled with principles from PMI’s The Standard for Program Management, Fourth Edition and The Agile Practice Guide.
By the end of the presentation, participants will walk away with more Agile techniques to manage change and complexity. Learn how to boost team performance and navigate change with a strategic and adaptive approach. Discover why strategic alignment is crucial to project and program benefits delivery.
