Global Foundries - Project Manager/ PMO Support
This position is responsible for managing key projects in the Integrated Manufacturing & Information Technology (IMIT) organization, as well as supporting our project management business processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting the organization’s drive to improve project delivery. This includes planning and executing projects, reporting on project management standards compliance, and gathering key performance indicators for the organization. This role will have significant interaction with many internal constituencies and will also communicate externally on behalf of leaders as needed.
Provide leadership and direction to project teams.
Manage projects as assigned - assemble business case / business need, plan project (WBS, team, risks, etc), engage with stakeholders, drive execution with regular status reports, ensure key objectives / deliverables met, and close out projects with benefits analysis and lessons learned identified.
Gather requirements and define business processes for project, program, resource, and portfolio management
Gather and report organizational key performance indicators (KPIs)
Monitor compliance of organization to project management guidelines and business processes
Bachelor’s degree or 5 years project management work experience in lieu of degree
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Detail oriented with the ability to multitask
Ability to work with all levels of management
Ability to work independently on projects with minimal supervision
Strong interpersonal skills
Good communication skills
Able to work independently, under pressure and sometimes at night
Ability to work with remote teams in a global organization
Flexible with shifting priorities
