April Chapter Meeting: Sustainability as it applies to Business Cases

Power Skills

Sustainability as it applies to Business Cases

6:30PM-7:30PM (Featured Presentation)

1 Power Skill PDU!

  • PMI's own Vice President for Community & Social Impact Olivier Lazar presents "Sustainability as it applies to Business Cases" which includes concepts-ESG, Sustainability and more!"More and more we hear about different aspects and dimensions of corporate and even
personal responsibility, citizenship, and sustainable business practices. All these messages
push forward the pressing requirement of developing different internal and external ways of
working. But what does it mean, what does it imply in terms of how we manage our
organizations and our projects within them? What does it mean for us and our employees
and ourselves as individual members of these organizations?
Let’s explore the meaning of words and concepts; ESG, Sustainability, Social Impact, etc.
And equally important, let’s ask ourselves the question; “What for?”, what is the business
case and how do we measure the effects?
